Sanctify Family Life - with the Rule of St. Benedict
The memorial of St. Benedict of Nursia, Abbot, is observed on July 11th. St. Benedict is often referred to as the founder of Western Christian Monasticism. Besides founding multiple monastic communities in Italy in the 6th century, St. Benedict wrote a "Rule" as guidelines for the communities he founded. The also has a unique spirit of balance, moderation and reasonableness, and this persuaded most religious communities founded throughout the Middle Ages to adopt it.
Attached is a PDF of a small pamphlet on applying the Rule of St. Benedict to family life in modern times.
