- Integration of All Saints
On Friday,
10 June 2005, members of the English Speaking Mission discussed
with Auxiliary Bishop Weider the integration of All Saints. Among
others the following arrangements were agreed:
| 1. |
Holy
Mass on Sundays at Hüttenweg will be part of the Mission.
The unitary Mission will have in the future three
locations for Holy Mass:
St Bernhard, St Albert the Great, All Saints (plus the
Filipino Community at Holy Ghost). The Mission Office is in the
rectory of St Bernhard. |
| 2. |
The
head of the English Speaking Mission is the Rector Ecclesiae of
the All Saints Blessed Sacrament Chapel.
He will be responsible for the arrangement for Sunday Holy Mass
at Hüttenweg.
Father Pfaff, Father Adonis and Father Gillessen will celebrate there.
Father Klein and Father Mertes have indicated their willingness
also to help out at All Saints. |
| 3. |
In
order that the whole Mission might function as a unitary whole
there shall be common services and meetings.
The Mission Council will discuss dates and occasions. |
| 4. |
There
will be a common Mission bulletin, which will supersede all existing
local publications.
It will be distributed at all three places of worship and be sent
to hotels etc. |
| 5. |
Between two and five representatives of the faithful from All
Saints will be co-opted unto the Mission Council until the next
elections are held. |
We welcome these arrangements and hope that the integration of All
Saints into the Mission will be seen as an enrichment for the English
Speaking faithful.
God bless
our Mission!

- Sharing agreements in St Albert
From St David to St Albert
Berlin, 18-9-2005
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The parish of St Ludwig welcomes you cordially in its church of St Albert.
It is a pleasure for us to share this church and rooms of the parish-centre
with you.
We hope and wish that you might feel at home more and more in St Albert
and that you will develop a lively atmosphere of faith and belonging
for your community here. I am personally full of hope that a good relationship
will grow between our communities.
May God bless this new beginning with the "spirit of power and
love and self-control" (2 Tim, 1,7). I am looking forward to seeing
you again.
Welcome all of you, Fr. Hans-G. Löffler, OFM
